CRESCENT MAISONETTE | W2
Two flats were merged to form a maisonette with a new plan generated around an L-shaped reception room. The brief was to maximise the living and entertainment space, with provision of ample storage to allow for clear uncluttered surfaces of the first and second floor of this large Victorian townhouse.
Macassar ebony pivoting doors hide the AV controls, storage and stairs for a pared down effect. The kitchen and dining areas are housed within retained Victorian glazing with a planted terrace beyond. The work surfaces, oven and sinks line the window wall and offer the cook a view of the street below. A concealed frameless door can divide these spaces when required.
